#83 she'd dream of paradise

Hey hi hello

So yes, I managed to abandon my blog again for over a month this time. I tried on multiple occasions to muster the inspiration to blog again but I never seem to find the muse or the time to do so.

We're currently right smack in the middle of my finals and of course instead of studying I suddenly find the motivation to blog. The art of procrastination at its finest.

I wouldn't say nothing much happened during this hiatus. Had to rush so many assignments and boy am I glad that's over. Watched the Theater finals for this semester and I must say they did really well. Even better than we did last semester, maybe.

I sincerely can't believe this semester is already over. It's the first semester I survived completely without seeing my boyfriend at all. It all went by in a flash and 12 weeks just came and left. Next thing you know it's going to be my last semester before I fly to the States. Oh, I was rejected by the only university I applied to by the way, but Ms Kelly will help arrange my appeal. Dad also said he might not have the funds for me to transfer, so I'm praying I can get a scholarship. That also means my CGPA needs to be above 3.0 and looking at the results I have so far, it seems almost impossible. Le sigh. America seems so out of reach, and with that, the prospect of seeing my boyfriend again :(

I recently got a haircut and color too. Similar to my previous one, but still something new :)

Oh and the Chelsea FACup final against Liverpool is on tonight, boyfriend and I are all hyped about it. Of course, Chelsea is going to win but don't tell my baby I said that.

Speaking of boyfriend, it's almost our first year anniversary, two days to be exact, and three months since we last saw each other. Had my fair share of emotional breakdowns, sometimes in the most inappropriate situations but I just can't help that I miss him so much. It only makes things worse when all my friends are with their own other halves and they're just so happy. Now don't get me wrong, I'm more than glad that my friends are happy. But seeing them like that just claws at the emptiness I already have inside. I miss the touch of my amazing boyfriend and having this uncertainty of when we will see each other again definitely does not make things any better. Honestly if you asked me, I'm lonely without him :(

#82 keep calm and march on

Hey hi hello holy shit.

I can't believe it's already March 2012. Time seriously waits for no one. 

And yay! I have pictures today. Just some random photos my girls and I decided to take when we were bored. 

Just an update on what has been happening so far. I've sent my applications to San Diego State University. They received it, but it seems I haven't sent everything that was needed. Fak. The deadline is already over  and it costs RM50 to send another packet. But you gotta do what you gotta do. And I really, really want to go to SDSU in the Fall. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the seasons in the US, that's in August.

Since that was last Monday, I was so stressed out (self-proclaimed or not), that I took the whole week off. Don't get me wrong, I tried to get at least an acceptable amount of work done but it seemed that all my brain & body wanted to was eat, sleep, play and refuse to pick a pen up. 

I went to the gym, went for a Capoeira class, watched Jaguars kick some ass at futsal for ADP Cup, went on a treasure hunt and did an interview. No progress whatsoever on assignments or club duties. Oh and now look, it's already Saturday and I'm still holed up at home. Chic Pop is happening in Jaya One, and I feel like heading down to Barsonic tonight but having no car sucks balls. But I'm going to forget all that and Skype with the boyfriend while watching football (as usual). 

Speaking of the boyfriend, it's 2 days till we hit 10 months. We're so close to a year. So sad we won't be physically together on that date. Not to worry, I already have something planned and I hope it falls through. It's just amazing how, though, how all that time went by and it didn't even feel like it was 10 months. Talk about people that change your life :)

Anyways, I've also been really into buying things online these days. And I'm not talking locally. We're looking at international transactions here people. Yep. My impulsive shopping habit has obviously grown, now lurking the internet, loves free shipping and eating up my debit card. So far I have bought two books from the UK with the excuse that I'll be using them for my assignment. K cool.

I guess that's all I have to say for this week. I've got a truck load of paperwork and emails to write. On a brighter note, it's movie+football datenight with the boyfriend tonight, yay. Till the next blog post, here's a narcissistic photo of myself that you might probably see everywhere :)
